Dr. Thomas J. DeStefano has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has been in his own practice since 1996 in Pittsford, New York. Dr. DeStefano specializes in family and cosmetic dentistry. He uses his continuous learning to implement the latest techniques and technology within his practice.
Dr. DeStefano and the team at DeStefano Dentistry focus on TMJ treatment, implants, sleep apnea treatment and more! Dr. DeStefano is a member of the American Dental Association®, the New York State Dental Association, Monroe County Dental Society and the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics. In addition, Dr. DeStefano is a Six Month Smiles® short-term orthodontic provider.
Education
Dr. DeStefano is a graduate of Gannon University and holds a Bachelor of Science in chemistry. He achieved his dental degree through the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as well as completing a General Practice Residency at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester, New York.
Dr. DeStefano has set himself apart by choosing the path of a lifelong learning journey by doing numerous hours of continuing education.
Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI-Trained Dentist)
Most recently he has completed the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies’ Core Curriculum series and earned the distinction of LVI Fellowship, which is awarded only to doctors who successfully completed all seven core courses and pass a comprehensive exam. This commitment distinguishes Dr. DeStefano for his dedication to providing quality care and a desire to master complex procedures in order to provide the best comprehensive care for his dental patients.
Dr. DeStefano resides in Webster, New York, with his wife, Kim. He enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outside, whether on the golf course, in the woods or on the lake.
