What Is SureSmile?

SureSmile is a system of clear aligners that work to straighten your teeth over time. Instead of metal wires and brackets, SureSmile uses removable aligners that look and work similarly to removable retainers. 

The aligners are made of a clear plastic material that fits snugly over your teeth. Unlike with traditional braces, you can take out the aligners to do things like eat and brush your teeth.

How Does SureSmile Work?

SureSmile works by slowly shifting your teeth using the plastic aligners. Before receiving your first set, you’ll attend a consultation at DeStefano Dentistry. During this visit, we make scans of your teeth. These models are sent to a lab where personalized trays are created.

These trays fit exactly over your teeth. They are designed to gradually reposition your teeth. Every couple of weeks, you’ll come back to our office for new scans and receive new aligners. With time, the series of clear aligners move your teeth into the desired position.
